Nothing brings a city together more with pride than when our own Utep miners win a championship in Football or Basketball....Granted, it doesn't happen as often as we'd like, but congrats to this years Utep Basketball team for winning the Conference-USA regular season title. Now it on to the "Big Dance". The NCAA Basketball tournament. The Miners take on Butler University on Thursday March 18, in round 1. This years team has a chance to do something special and we here at Kiss-Fm say, "LET'S GO MINERS". The game will be televised on CBS sports, but you can listen to my show on thursday beginning at 3 p.m. and I will give you updates on the game during every break until the game is over. "IT'S MINER BALL" !!!! Tony
