Help Mike & Tricia help someone you know this Christmas through A Christmas Act of Kindness.

If you know someone facing a difficult time this Christmas and needs some sort of assistance, reach out to us and together we can try to help them out. 

Maybe your neighbor has been hit hard by the economy and won’t be able to afford toys for his or her children.  Or a co-worker needs a little extra cash to get her car fixed so she can get to work. Or a friend can’t afford a plane ride home for the holidays to get that special hug from mom and dad.

Mike & Tricia and 93.1 KISS-FM want to help that someone you know through A Christmas Act of Kindness. But we can't do this without your help! So help us reach out to those around us who could benefit from your love and kindness.

Rules on submitting your Act of Kindness:

• You CANNOT send a letter on behalf of yourself or anyone in your household
  
• Recipient must live in the El Paso Metro Area
  
• The possible Recipient CANNOT know the letter has been written on their behalf.
  
• Only send your letter one time, it will be read and considered.
  
• Deadline to send a letter via website is 6am MST Monday, December 13, 2010. Mailed letters must be postmarked by Saturday, December 11, 2010.
  
• Valid entries must contain ALL information requested. Incomplete, inaccurate and / or multiple entries will not be considered.

Listeners are asked to submit a letter via website or mail nominating a friend, co-worker, or acquaintance they know or know of who could use a helping hand. All letters received will be read and reviewed by a member of the KSII staff. Entries will be selected based upon the following criteria: authenticity (50%) and compelling story (50%). Upon selection, a member of the morning show will contact the individual who submitted the letter and the person whom the letter was written on behalf of. The letter writer may be invited to join Mike & Tricia for a radio segment to surprise the selected person. The person selected to receive A Christmas Act of Kindness is called on-air and their story is read by the person who nominated them.
10 letters total will be selected and recipients awarded $250. Checks must be picked up in person by the selected recipient at the KSII studios, 4180 N. Mesa. ALL ENTRIES SELECTED WILL BE AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE KSII and MORNING STAFF.
