I have a comment for Mike Martinez. This morning I was listening to your show on my way to work and you made a comment after playing a Sarah Palin soundclip. Your comment was about how we're so in love with her that we let her get away with anything, based on her dodging a question, as politicians do. I think that that was a very uninformed and VERY one sided comment. Barack Obama has had a number of extremely questionable "close friends" and the majority of the media have ignored them. He has dodged questions by directing listeners towards stories of his grandmother, or by stammering for several minutes on end without the media so much as blinking. He has slipped up and claimed 57 states, "but we haven't been to 1. Alaska and Hawaii." And the media didn't bat an eyelash. Palin has been targeted since day one, and Obama has been left alone. When Tricia first arrived at Kiss I won a contest to go to the Lancer's club for dinner. I talked to her about Canutillo Jr High School and she thought that she could work on getting us some small donations for our positive behavior initiative program- some T-shirts, Cds,. Now we have just piloted a school wide program with a school store and everything. Is the offer still good? I tried emailing before but gave up as I didn't hear back.
