Hey Gang, Week 5 of the Go Fit Camp is in the books and I've suffered a setback in my effort to lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks. Last week, all I needed was 5 pounds in 2 weeks and I was done. But when I tipped the scales today, I had gained 3 pounds!! What Happened!! I got off the cucumber diet, started back on the low fat diet that my trainer Leon had outlined for me, but I still gained 3 pounds. The only thing that I could figure was the muscle mass gained from 5 weeks of intense work-outs was beginning to show on my body. Leon said muscle weighs more than fat, so that's what happened. Friends have noticed that my stomach gut has gone down, and my face also trimmed down. I guess I shouldn't worry so much about weight loss, and rejoice in getting more toned. Nevertheless, I've still got 1 more week to go. Last week, we got into more kick-boxing. Results so far to date.
Week 1 - Started at 237 pounds. Lost 3 pounds. 234 pounds
Week 2 - 234 pounds. Lost 2 pounds. Down to 232 pounds
Week 3 - 232 pounds. Lost 2 more pounds. Down to 230 pounds.
Week 4 - 230 pounds. Lost 8 more pounds. Down to 222 pounds.
Week 5 - 222 pounds. Gained 3 pounds. Up to 225 pounds.
Total pounds lost to date. 12 pounds in 5 weeks.
