I just got off the phone with Ryan, and man, it feels good to be able to breathe again! Even though I know he is in Iraq, I don't know what part of the country he is in. That and the days that can go by without an email or a phone call from him are nerve-wreaking. I know that there are a lot of other military families out there who are in the same shoes I'm in, so if you need someone to talk to who understands how hard it is to have someone in harm's way, please email me at tricia@ksii.com. I would love to form a safety net for all the military families left behind here in El Paso, and elsewhere if you want to send my email to others you know. It's hard for people to understand that after getting off the phone with Ryan, I really need to cry. Not because I'm sad, which I am of course, but because it is a necessary release. I know it's hard to stay upbeat and cheerful during the call from your soldier, but you have to for their sake. That's why after the call, you might need someone to hang on the phone with you while you get out the fear and worry. Email me and we'll get through this together! Our soldiers deserve that - YOU deserve that! FAMILIES OF SOLDIERS ROCK!!!!
