DOH ... 1.) Terrance Mitchell of Waterloo, Iowa, evidently loves video equipment, but - like many of us, can't afford it. So he did what any Real Man of Genius would do: He stole some. Unfortunately, what he stole was the video surveillance camera from his local home improvement store. And the store's other cameras caught him in the act of swiping it. DOH! 2.) Fort Myers, Florida, police were searching a home after getting a report that fugitive Tyler Blair might be hiding there. They looked around but couldn’t find Tyler … until one of the officers had a plan. He dialed Tyler’s number, and darned if they didn’t hear a ring coming from a bedroom closet. Busted! DOH! 3.) Paul Caldwell of Wenatchee, Washington, stole items worth over $10,000 from a collectibles shop. Police quickly arrived and found Paul on foot a short distance away from the crime scene. And the reason he was still near the store? His getaway car stalled out because our Genius forget to gas it up. DOH! REAL MAN OF GENIUS ... Police in Eden, New York, are looking for a man who attempted to rob an Eden bank. He's been described as a black male in his 20s with a stocky build and a goatee. The reason we know he has a goatee is also the reason we know he's a Genius. Let me explain: The guy had one of those dust masks that construction workers use, and was apparanlty planning on using it to hide his identity during the robbery. Except he FORGOT. Except he forget that minor detail and walked into the bank with the dust mask just hanging on his neck. Survelliance tapes show him handing the teller a note, demanding money, answering his phone . . . then grabbing the note back from the teller and running out without any cash. The cops believe the caller was his getaway driver calling to tell him his mask wasn't on. They think the caller also might've told him the Eden police station was just a few FEET from the bank they were robbing. The police are still searching for him.
